With Tropical Storm Milton expected to make landfall in Florida as a major hurricane by midweek, the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's October Yearling Sale has been moved forward a day, with a first session beginning Monday at 3 p.m. The auction's second session will begin at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Hip numbers one through 200 will be offered Monday and hips 201-595 will be offered Tuesday.

The October sale had originally been scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Due to the scheduling change, OBS has cut the commission on buy-backs to 2.5%.
